Technology & Equipment – Load train Factory Train for safe and efficient intralogistics
With innovative and sophisticated technology, the load train Factory Train offers future-proof and cost-efficient intralogistics. Driving and operating the load train is ergonomically designed for the employee. Many safety functions are already integrated in the basic equipment. The service and maintenance costs are as low as possible due to the long-lasting design, with operating hours counter and maintenance instructions, and the possibility of remote diagnostics.
Electronic steering
Electronically controlled steering for maximum directional stability of the entire load train ("Virtual Track": driving as on rails).
Speed reduction
Automatic speed reduction in cornering until the complete train is in straight ahead direction. No "whiplash effect".
Diagonal drive
Full turn of all steering axles in the same direction allows a diagonal drive of the load train ("Crabbing") for one easy lane change.
Individually controllable lifting functions
Time and energy efficient operation through individually controllable lifting functions centrally on the tractor or directly on the modules.
Suspension
Suspension and backlash free connection provide high protection for the goods from bumps and blows and allow a quiet operation.
CAN-Bus control
Automatic identification of the load carriers connected to the load train. Constant communication and monitoring of all systems in the load train.
Lowering clearance and tow tractor locking
Safe loading / unloading. Lowering of load carriers only possible when the tow tractor handbrake has been applied. Tow tractor automatically stopped from moving off when load carriers in the lowered position.
Maintenance and Service
Operating hours counter and maintenance lamp with specified service intervals provide a long operating time of the load train.
Totally oil-free system
Pure electrical operation and completely oil-free system ensure high efficiency, energy efficiency and avoid pollution caused by oil loss (leaks).
Weather Protection System
Maximum protection against the weather with wind and rainproof Weather protection system (option). Manual or electrically operated.
Electronic brake system
Safe braking and smooth deceleration of the entire load train through an electronic single-wheel brake system with ABS function.
Report from TÜV SÜD
The report certifies the roadworthiness and is a basic condition for a special permission according F§70 StVZO to road use with the load train Factory Train (e.g. Road crossing or short distances on public roads).
